Humectant: The second component of facial mask is usually a humectant. Common humectants include glycerin, butanediol, pentylenediol and polyglycerol; Compared with polysaccharide

humectant: sodium hyaluronate, trehalose, etc., the price of polysaccharide humectant will be a little cheaper than the first category of products. The moisturizing effect is also better;

Thickener: Carbohydrates and yellow collagen are common. Its function is to make essence look more viscous. In some masks, in addition to thickeners, adhesives and chelating agents are also added. The adhesive increases the adhesion of the mask, and the chelating agent is used to prevent some components in the mask from combining with each other. It also has the effect of preventing the deterioration of other components.

Emulsifier: a kind of surfactant. Emulsifier molecules generally contain hydrophilic and lipophilic groups, which determines the hydrophilicity and lipophilicity of the emulsifier. In the liquid that oil and water are not miscible with each other, an appropriate amount of emulsifier can be added and processed to form a homogeneous dispersion system.

Multi facial mask also contain emulsifiers, such as polysorbate 80, acrylic acid (ester)/C10-30 alkanolacrylate crosslinked polymer, etc., which are used to improve the texture of facial mask, so that if the ingredients in facial mask are small molecules, they can be better absorbed by the skin.

Film forming agent: chemical substances, film forming agent must be able to mix well with photosensitive substances and have the same solubility as photosensitive substances, including water solubility, alkali solubility, organic solvent solubility, etc.

Compared with other types of facial mask, the proportion of hydroxyethyl cellulose is a little less. Hydroxyethylcellulose is more common. It forms a film as a skin conditioner.

Preservatives: commonly used phenoxyethanol, hydroxyphenyl methyl ester, butyl iodopropyl carbamate, bis (hydroxymethyl) imidazoline urea, etc.

Essence: It is a mixture of two or even dozens of spices (sometimes with appropriate solvents or carriers), which is artificially prepared and has a certain aroma. Adjust the taste of facial mask.

Hydrolyzed collagen: As the hydrolysate of collagen, it has excellent properties. It mainly has nutritional, restorative, moisturizing, affinity and other effects.
